The report is dedicated to the memory of Nikolay Vasilyevich Butorin, Doctor of Geography, an outstanding scientist, initiator and founder of the Borok Scientific School of geographers, hydrologists, hydrobiologists, and one of the first directors of the Papanin Institute for Biology of Inland Waters, Russian Academy of Sciences. In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, defender of the Fatherland N.V. Butorin would have been 100 years old.
